Microsoft rolled out a new aggregated library in the Xbox app for PC on Tuesday, Oct. 16, that automatically lists installed games from other stores such as Steam and Battle.net, serving as a centralized launcher for titles installed on the system.
The feature, previously available to Xbox Insiders for testing, is now being distributed to all users. According to Jason Beaumont, vice president of Xbox experiences, “When you install a game from a supported store, it automatically appears in your Xbox library for PC, so you can jump back into the game with a single click.”

My Apps section and quick-launch tools
The update also adds a “My Apps” section designed to let users install and launch browsers, competing storefronts and game utilities quickly from within the Xbox app. Microsoft says the feature was developed with handheld devices like the ROG Xbox Ally in mind but will benefit any Windows player.

Cloud play, match history and cross-device sync arriving soon
Microsoft plans to add cloud play integration and match history to the app later this month. Those additions will sync progress and play history across PC, console and handheld devices, expanding a capability that began testing on Xbox last month.
