Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to claim four games through Games With Gold in September 2020, spanning releases from the original Xbox era through current Xbox One titles.
Tom Clancy’s The Division available all month on Xbox One
Tom Clancy’s The Division, first released in 2016, will be free for Xbox Live Gold members from September 1 through September 30 on Xbox One. The third-person shooter blends RPG progression and online multiplayer as players work to reclaim New York City across a large open map, completing missions, upgrading gear and leveling characters. The title supports cooperative play for up to four players. Expansions are not included with this Games With Gold offering.
The Book of Unwritten Rules 2 joins mid-September
The Book of Unwritten Rules 2, released in 2015, will be available from September 16 to October 15 on Xbox One. The sequel offers a point-and-click adventure inspired by epic fantasy literature and classic RPGs, featuring more than 20 hours of story-driven gameplay.
De Blob 2 returns for early September
De Blob 2, originally released in 2011 for Xbox 360, is part of the September Games With Gold selection from September 1 to September 15 and will be accessible on both Xbox One and Xbox 360. The colorful platformer challenges players to repaint environments and brings back a charismatic lead and playful mechanics for those who missed it on its original generation.
Armed and Dangerous available in the latter half of the month
Armed and Dangerous, a third-person shooter launched in 2003 for the original Xbox, will be free from September 16 to September 30 on Xbox One and Xbox 360. The title is noted for its offbeat humor, memorable characters and inventive weapons, parodying pop-culture references throughout the adventure.
