Outriders, developed by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix, officially released on Thursday, Feb. 1, and is available immediately for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Owners of Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S can access the full sci-fi shooter-RPG on the service.
The game is set in a distant future and follows a group of space colonists searching for a new home for humanity. They choose the planet Enoch, but upon arrival they encounter the “Anomaly,” a phenomenon that spawns violent storms that destroy equipment and alters local fauna, turning animals into deadly beasts.
Progress carries over from the demo
According to an Xbox news post, characters and progress from the demo will transfer directly into the full game. Players can also adjust character appearance without starting over, providing continuity between the demo and the released title.

Inventory, gear and crafting advice
The Xbox guidance recommends checking your inventory early. A chest found in any hub can contain the bonus Hell’s Ranger gear. The game’s crafting system—available at launch—lets players change item levels, variants, mod combinations and other equipment details.
The post encourages players to personalize their loadouts and take advantage of the customization options offered through crafting and gear modification.
Challenge and World Tiers
Xbox’s list also highlights difficulty systems: World Tiers encourage players to test themselves at higher challenge levels, while Challenge Tiers offer additional structured difficulty options.
Platforms and Game Pass pricing
Beyond Xbox consoles, Outriders is playable on PC, Stadia, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Xbox Game Pass subscription prices range from R$ 29.99 to R$ 44.99 per month, depending on the plan (PC, console or both).
