Meta and Microsoft expanded their collaboration this week: eligible Meta Horizon+ subscribers will now receive access to Xbox Game Pass Starter as part of their membership, enabling play of selected Xbox titles on compatible devices in supported regions.
What Xbox Game Pass Starter includes
The Starter tier of Xbox Game Pass gives subscribers access to a catalog of more than 50 games, 10 hours of cloud gaming per month and in-game rewards for playing.
Titles highlighted among the offering include Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Overcooked 2, Grounded, DayZ, Deep Rock Galactic and SnowRunner. The collection spans major releases and indie games across RPG, survival, co-op and simulation genres.
How the benefit fits into Meta Horizon+
The Game Pass Starter access is being added to Meta Horizon+, the subscription that provides perks for Meta Quest device users. Meta states the subscription price in the United States is US$ 7.99 per month or US$ 59.99 per year.
Eligible subscribers in supported regions can activate the benefit and begin accessing the Xbox Game Pass Starter catalog immediately.
Partners say the collaboration will broaden game access
Microsoft described the move as part of a broader effort by both companies to expand ways players can access Xbox ecosystem games across different devices. In recent years, Xbox and Meta have worked together to bring the Xbox app and Game Pass features to Meta Quest headsets; adding Game Pass Starter to Meta Horizon+ represents another step in integrating their services.
