Microsoft updated its Xbox Design Lab with new pastel color choices, five camouflage patterns and a limited Pride edition, expanding options for players who customize Xbox controllers. Custom controllers sold through the service cost US$70 in the United States.
New pastel colors and camo patterns
The service added pastel shades in pink, green, orange and purple. It also introduced five new camouflage patterns: Mineral Camo, Arctic Camo, Forest Camo, Blaze Camo and Sandglow Camo. All new colors and patterns can be mixed with the existing tones available in the Xbox Design Lab configurator.
Price and availability
A custom controller purchased through Xbox Design Lab is priced at US$70 in the United States, which converts directly to R$342. The update increases the variety of combinations users can create when designing a unique controller.
Pride edition released
At the start of the month, Microsoft launched a limited Pride version of the Xbox controller sold exclusively through Xbox Design Lab. The Pride edition was announced as a tribute for Pride Month and is available only on the customization service.
Where to see the new designs
The announcement included a video showcasing the new pastel colors and camouflage patterns; the clip is available below.

Other companies offer controller customization services as well, though Microsoft’s post notes that competing options often come at a higher price than Xbox Design Lab.
