Sifu launches on Android and iOS with mobile kung‑fu combat

Sifu, the kung‑fu action game developed by French studio Sloclap, is now available on Android and iOS. Released on Tuesday, the mobile edition brings the 2022 title to smartphones with redesigned controls and camera tweaks to suit smaller screens.

The mobile version adapts Sifu’s core combat for touch input, introducing on‑screen controls intended to keep fights precise and intense. Developers also simplified environmental interactions and implemented an adaptive camera to improve visibility during encounters on compact displays.

Sloclap says the game retains its cinematic presentation and the hand‑painted art style from the original releases, aiming to offer a visual experience comparable to earlier platforms.

Story and core gameplay remain intact

Sifu follows a young martial artist in a fictional Chinese city who witnesses his father’s murder and, after eight years of training, seeks revenge against those responsible. The narrative premise is preserved in the mobile edition.

The gameplay continues to blend roguelike elements with beat ’em up mechanics: players learn through repeated attempts, refine techniques, and progress by mastering the Pak Mei kung‑fu style. Success depends on reading enemy weaknesses and using the environment during fights.
