Microsoft confirmed several games that will be available when the Xbox Series S and Series X launch, though its flagship title, Halo: Infinite, has been delayed until later in the year.
Titles available at launch
The company said that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Gears Tactics, Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Tetris Effect: Connected will be available on the day the new consoles are revealed.
Major releases arriving after launch
Three days after the console launch, on November 13, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is scheduled to arrive. A week later, on November 19, Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red will be released.
Optimized versions and Smart Delivery
Microsoft noted that other games already available—or releasing before the Series S and Series X—will receive optimized versions for the new generation. The company is pushing its Smart Delivery system, which automatically provides players with the most appropriate version of a game for their console.
