Elden Ring spotted in Game Pass listings, leak suggests

Leaked listings on the Microsoft Store and user-shared screenshots suggest Elden Ring could be added to Xbox Game Pass and made available via Xbox Cloud Gaming, according to posts circulating on social media.

What the leaks show

Users who shared the material say Elden Ring appeared in ads promoting Game Pass Ultimate, and that store pages flagged the game as included with Game Pass and compatible with cloud play. One poster claimed their screenshot was captured before being redirected to a different store page.

Other titles reportedly affected

Reports around the same time indicate Grand Theft Auto V and Soul Hackers 2 were also shown as enabled on xCloud and available through Game Pass. Some users noted additional games—Dying Light 2, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Resident Evil Village and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga—were appearing in similar listings, leading some to speculate the listings may reflect a bug.

Official comment and timing

Neither Microsoft nor Bandai Namco, publisher of Elden Ring, has commented on the alleged leaks. Microsoft recently confirmed the Xbox brand will attend Gamescom 2022, scheduled for August 24–28; if the reports are accurate, the company could address the matter during its presentation.
