Angstrom Levy, the multiverse villain from the Invincible comics, will be added to Invincible VS as a playable character on October 13, the developer Quarter Up and Skybound Entertainment announced. He is the third downloadable fighter of Season 2 and the 21st character in the game’s roster.
New fighter to be playable at EVO France before launch
Before the official release, players will have a chance to test Angstrom during EVO France, held this month. His arrival as Season 2’s third DLC expands the lineup and brings a character whose comic-book abilities are built into his in-game design.
Gameplay centered on portals and zoning
Invincible VS positions Angstrom as a zoning specialist, a playstyle focused on controlling space to limit opponents’ approaches. His core mechanic lets players create portals to summon and manipulate orbs across the stage.
Those orbs serve multiple purposes: offensive pressure, defensive coverage, enhanced mobility and trap setup. The portal system encourages a deliberate, strategic approach, requiring players to plan portal placement and positioning before committing to attacks.
The portal-based mechanics reflect Angstrom’s comic origin — his power to open gateways between dimensions — and are a defining element of his fighting identity in the game.
Character background from the comics

In the Invincible storyline, Angstrom Levy experiences an accident that causes his mind to accumulate memories from numerous alternate versions of himself across the multiverse. Unable to clearly separate his own memories from those of his variants, he blames Invincible for his condition and becomes obsessed with revenge.
The game adapts that multiversal connection into Angstrom’s combat kit, translating his dimension-spanning abilities into the portal and orb mechanics players will use in matches.
Availability and platforms
Angstrom Levy will be released as the third Season 2 DLC on October 13. Invincible VS is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
