Microsoft announced 15 games scheduled to arrive on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Xbox Game Pass between August 15 and August 19. The lineup ranges from RPG and survival titles to sports and arcade games, including Madden NFL 23 and The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands.

Aug. 16 releases: family sports, co-op and hunting

On August 16, Little League World Series Baseball 2022 debuts, letting players choose teams to compete in tournament brackets, quick play modes or local multiplayer for up to four players.

Also on the 16th, Tribes of Midgard arrives as a cooperative action-survival roguelite in which players defend a village and the Seed of Yggdrasil from nightly invaders to prevent Ragnarök.

Way of the Hunter launches the same day, offering an open-world hunting simulation set across U.S. and European locations, with realistic animals, habitats and detailed weapons for an ethical-hunting experience or free exploration.

Aug. 17 releases: platformers, trivia and cooperative action

Dyna Bomb arrives on August 17 as a colorful platform shooter where players select one or two heroes to navigate eight levels, buy upgrades and face Dr. Brutus.

Droid Trivia also releases on the 17th, featuring more than 800 questions across 15 categories with local multiplayer options and several round types, including True/False and image-based questions.

Robo Revenge Squad is a 1–4 player cooperative action game in which improvised robots—made from everyday objects—battle alien machines.

Smash Boats: Waterlogged Edition, inspired by classic arcade action, is also scheduled for August 17, with enemy swarms, environmental obstacles and unlockable treasures across its stages.

Aug. 18 releases: puzzle, roguelike and survival

Chameneon (Aug. 18) is a 2D platform/runner with colorful pixel art. Players must activate the Chameneon protocol to navigate neon cyber lines and defeat a virus infecting cyberspace.

Cursed Golf arrives the same day as a roguelike twist on golf: courses feature hazards such as high-powered fans, TNT boxes and teleporters, and players must reach the par count to avoid being sent back.

The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands, also launching August 18, is a survival-simulation where players build and manage a snowy settlement, assign workers, craft advanced structures, trade with new civilizations and defend against monster attacks at night.

Tilesweeper, inspired by Minesweeper, appears with upgraded visuals and themed levels; initial content includes a Castle theme with grid sizes of 9×9, 16×16 and 30×16 and arcade-style levels planned.

Aug. 19 releases: tanks, Madden and narrative puzzles

Arenas of Tanks, arriving August 19, offers a playful toy-tank experience where players recruit friendly tanks, use radar and ricocheting projectiles, and exploit cover and movement to score points and win levels.

Madden NFL 23 launches on August 19 for general availability; however, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members with EA Play and those who preordered the All Madden Edition could begin playing on August 15. The title includes updated Franchise free agency and trade logic, Face of the Franchise: The League, and Madden Ultimate Team features.

Also on August 19, Rattyvity Lab follows Sam, a lab rat who gains accidental electromagnetic powers and must connect boxes to escape in this platform puzzle-adventure.

A Tale of Paper: Refolded is a puzzle-platformer about Line, a paper character who uses origami to transform into shapes like a frog, rocket or bird while on an emotional journey to fulfill their creator’s dream.
