Microsoft published a list of 30 games that will arrive optimized for the new Xbox Series X and S consoles on November 10, the company said, and noted that many of those titles will be upgraded immediately for next‑gen hardware.
What players will get on day one
According to Microsoft, players who power on an Xbox Series X or S at launch will access a large lineup of games spanning multiple Xbox generations. The company highlighted 30 titles that will receive optimizations on the consoles’ release date; additional games are expected to be updated in the weeks after launch.
Microsoft also said 20 of the listed games will support Smart Delivery, meaning eligible purchases will be upgraded to the next‑generation version at no extra cost.
Launch date and availability
The optimized titles will be available beginning November 10, the date Microsoft set for the consoles’ arrival in some markets. A subset of the games will also be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
