Microsoft is expanding Xbox’s Discord integration with a new built-in “stream your gameplay” feature that will let Xbox owners broadcast their play directly to Discord. The function is entering initial testing and is slated to reach all Xbox consoles in 2023.
Rollout and availability
The streaming feature is starting to be deployed to members of the Xbox Insiders program, specifically those in the Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha rings. Microsoft says the option will be made available to all Xbox owners in the coming months of 2023.
How the feature works

The new option will appear in the Party & Chat section of the Xbox dashboard once a user is connected to a Discord server. From there, players can select “transmit your gameplay” and adjust transmission settings before going live to their Discord friends or server members.
Only one stream can be active at a time from a console — simultaneous multiple streams through Discord are not supported.
Context: Discord on Xbox so far

Microsoft introduced a basic Discord experience on Xbox in September 2022 and expanded it in November by allowing Xbox users to join Discord voice channels without needing a phone. More recently, the consoles gained the ability to display Xbox gamertags within Discord calls.
Those incremental updates signal ongoing collaboration between the two platforms and leave open the possibility of further features in the future, such as viewing Discord streams on Xbox or participating in chats while watching.
