Timothée Chalamet said he once ran a previously secret YouTube channel, ModdedController360, where he modified and sold customized Xbox 360 controllers. The channel was created in February 2010 and contains three videos uploaded eleven years ago.
How the channel came to light
Fans began investigating after noticing clues that pointed to Chalamet: a scar on a finger, a chair visible in one of the actor’s Instagram posts, and a voice similar to his younger appearance on Law & Order in 2009. Speculation about the channel had circulated since 2018, after Chalamet received an Oscar nomination for Best Actor for Call Me by Your Name.
What Chalamet said about ModdedController360
In an interview with YouTuber Nate Hill, alongside Zendaya, Chalamet confirmed he was the person who does not show his face in the videos. He described how he used the channel to modify and paint Xbox 360 controllers, then sold them.
He told the interviewer that he charged between US$ 10 and US$ 15 for the three customized controllers before abandoning the venture.
Channel stats and content
Although no new uploads have appeared, Chalamet’s association boosted the channel’s visibility: ModdedController360 now has nearly 18,000 subscribers and more than 230,000 views. The three videos have between 5,000 and 9,000 likes, while comments are disabled.
Chalamet also discussed his favorite games during the interview, naming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as his top pick — a title referenced in the channel’s most recent video, which he called “the best video game right now.”

Dune box office and sequel
