Microsoft will add several notable games to Xbox Game Pass in January, including eFootball PES 2021 Season Update, the DC Comics fighting game Injustice 2, and the action-RPG Torchlight III.
Which games arrive and when
The new arrivals are scheduled for early and mid-January. On January 7, eFootball PES 2021 Season Update will be available on Xbox, while Injustice 2 will arrive on both Xbox and PC. The Little Acre will also launch on Xbox that day.
On January 14, multiple titles are set to join the catalog: Neoverse (PC), Torchlight III (Xbox), What Remains of Edith Finch (PC) and YIIK: A Postmodern RPG (PC).
Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in January
A number of games will exit the service in January. Titles scheduled to leave include FTL: Faster Than Light (PC), My Friend Pedro (Xbox and PC), Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet (Xbox) and Tekken 7 (Console).
How subscribers can keep games they already downloaded
Players who downloaded any of the games that are leaving and want to keep playing can purchase the digital versions from their platform’s online store. Subscribers may use the Xbox Game Pass discount to save up to 20% on those purchases.
