Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is now available, combining the 2019 base game with the Aftermath expansion and all characters from Kombat Pack 1 and Kombat Pack 2.
What’s included
The package brings the complete set of DLC fighters — totaling 37 playable characters — all released arenas, and the Friendship finishers, a non-lethal alternative to the series’ Fatalities.
Platforms and upgrades
Ultimate is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. Players who own Mortal Kombat 11 on last-generation consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) can upgrade to the next-gen version for free within the same platform.
If you already own Mortal Kombat 11 in any form, you can upgrade to Ultimate by purchasing any remaining DLC packs you do not yet own.
Next-gen enhancements
On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, NetherRealm promises faster load times, enhanced visual effects and support for dynamic resolution up to 4K.
Cross-play and limitations
NetherRealm states that the game uses its “Kross Generation” technology to enable online play between Sony and Microsoft consoles, allowing players on PlayStation and Xbox to face each other regardless of which console they use. This cross-play feature is not available on the Nintendo Switch or PC versions.
Price
The Ultimate upgrade is priced at R$ 199 in the PlayStation Store. On Xbox, the complete package is listed at R$ 279.
