Microsoft will remove five games from Xbox Game Pass during the first half of April, the company announced. The departures include MLB The Show 21, with its sequel MLB The Show 22 already added to the catalog on launch day.
The bulk of removals will occur on April 15, when four titles leave the service across various platforms. Another game is scheduled to depart on April 18.
Titles removed April 15
On April 15 the following games will be removed from Xbox Game Pass:
- MLB The Show 21 – cloud and console
- Rain On Your Parade – cloud, console and PC
- The Long Dark – cloud, console and PC
- Pathway – PC
Title removed April 18
One additional game will leave the service on April 18:
- F1 2019 – cloud, console and PC
What this means for subscribers
Subscribers who want to keep access to any of these titles will need to purchase them outright before the listed removal dates. Microsoft typically announces departures in batches, and the company warned that a second set of removals for the latter half of April will be announced separately.
New arrivals note
Among the changes to the Game Pass catalog this month, MLB The Show 22 joined the service on its release day, replacing MLB The Show 21 in the subscription lineup.
