Assassin’s Creed Origins and For Honor Join Xbox Game Pass Soon

Microsoft said it has expanded its partnership with Ubisoft to bring additional titles to Xbox Game Pass, confirming that Assassin’s Creed Origins and For Honor: Marching Fire Edition will arrive on the service soon.

The company announced the partnership growth alongside a list of games scheduled to join Game Pass in the second half of April. No specific release dates were provided, but both Assassin’s Creed Origins and For Honor: Marching Fire Edition are expected to be added within the next two months.

Platforms and editions included

Assassin’s Creed Origins will be available on Xbox consoles and via cloud streaming, and it will also be accessible on PC through the Ubisoft Connect app. For Honor will receive the Marching Fire Edition upgrade for consoles and cloud services, with the Marching Fire Edition likewise offered on PC through Ubisoft Connect.

Background of the Microsoft–Ubisoft partnership

The expanded agreement follows an earlier collaboration between Microsoft and Ubisoft that began in January, when Ubisoft confirmed Rainbow Six Extraction would be available on Xbox Game Pass on its launch day. While the newly announced additions are not new releases, their inclusion signals the ongoing nature of the partnership and suggests more Ubisoft content may be added for Game Pass subscribers.

Availability window

Microsoft did not supply exact launch dates for Assassin’s Creed Origins or For Honor: Marching Fire Edition. The company said both titles will join Xbox Game Pass within the next two months.
