Microsoft schedules July showcase for Xbox Series X games

Microsoft will host a virtual event on July 23 to reveal early games coming to the Xbox Series X, the company announced on its Xbox social networks. The presentation starts at 13:00 Brasília time and will focus on several titles headed to the new console.

Main confirmed game: Halo Infinite

Among the lineup, Halo Infinite is confirmed to appear. The title has been billed internally as a “spiritual reboot” of the franchise and is one of the games promised for the Xbox Series X launch.

Release window and hardware details

The Xbox Series X is scheduled for release in the last quarter of the year. Microsoft has not confirmed the console’s price.

Industry rumors indicate the company may also release a lower-spec model called the Xbox Series S, described as an entry-level version capable of running the same games with reduced graphical fidelity.
